Celebrate Heritage Sunday at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Millville, NJ on May 21
On May 21, Heritage Sunday, Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, will welcome The Rev. Dr. Robert J. Williams, as speaker during the 9:30 a.m. worship service. Rev. Williams is a retired pastor of the Greater New Jersey Conference, having served as pastor of church in Minotola, Newfield, Woodbury, Trenton, Pennington, and Cherry Hill, (NJ) and most recently as General Secretary of the General Commission on Archives and History of the United Methodist Church.
At 5 p.m. on the 21st, Paul Gregowske, a Millville, NJ native, will share information about his work with Trans World Radio. TWR is a multi-national, evangelical Christian media distributer. Founded in 1952, it is the largest Christian media organization in the world, it uses medium wave or high-powered AM or short-wave transmitters, local FM radio stations, cable, satellite, internet and mobile device technologies. Currently their programs can be heard in 160 countries in more than 230 languages and dialects. TWR distributes programs for ministries such as “Through the Bible,” “In Touch,” and “Insight for Living,” as well as their own programs. An ice cream social and time of fellowship will follow Mr. Gregowske’s presentation.

The Bible study time is on Wednesdays, in room (#3/4) on the lower level at 11 a.m., with the study of 1 Thessalonians.
A new activity beginning Tues., May 23 and every fourth Tues of the month. The Stitch Club will meet at 11 a.m. in Room #3/4 on the lower level. Anyone interested is welcome.
