"Be a Tree" is the Message for this Sunday, September 20 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist
This Sunday, September 10, the Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost, at 9:30 a.m., Pastor John Mitchell, will bring the message entitled, “Be A Tree” based on “Matthew 28:19-20, Galatians 5:25 and Luke 19:1-10.” Joan Thomas will be our worship leader and song leader. Harry Putnam is our guest soloist this week and we welcome him back to our church. Our facility is handicapped accessible and air conditioned.
Mondays Cub Scout Pack 138 meets at 7 p.m. For info contact Cubmaster David Laird at (856) 765 – 1329. Meetings are suspended until September.
The Bible study time is on Wednesdays, in room (#3/4) on the lower level at 11 a.m., with the study of 1 Timothy.
The Stitch Club will meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 11 a.m. in Room #3/4 on the lower level. Anyone interested is welcome.
This Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m., the installation service for our new District Superintendent, The Rev. Glenn Conaway, will be conducted at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Cedar Road, Mullica Hill.
Next Sunday, September 17, “Back To Church” Sunday. A Postcard will be sent to everyone who has worshipped with us since the last “Back To Church Sunday observance and you are invited to ask a friend, neighbor, or whomever you choose and give them one of the “A Place To Belong” folders.
