Join Us Sunday for Worship and find out - It's Not Fair

This Sunday, September 24, the Sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost, at 9:30 a.m., Pastor John Mitchell, will bring the message entitled, “It’s Not Fair!” based on Matthew 20:1-16. Marcella Camp will be our worship leader and Joan Tomas our song leader. Special music will be provided by Debbie Permito. Our facility is handicapped accessible and air conditioned.

FAMILY MOVIE TIMES HAVE RETURNED – This evening, September 24, 5 p.m., the DVD “The Shack.” Summary: After suffering a family tragedy, Mack Phillips spirals into a deep depression that causes him to question his innermost beliefs. Facing a crisis of faith, he receives a mysterious letter urging him to an abandoned shack in the Oregon wilderness. Despite his doubts, Mack journeys to the shack and encounters an enigmatic trio of strangers led by a woman named Papa. Through this meeting, Mack finds important truths that will transform his understanding of his tragedy and change his life forever. Join us for this powerful film.

The Bible study time is on Wednesdays, in room (#3/4) on the lower level at 11 a.m., with the study of 2 Timothy.

The Stitch Club will meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 11 a.m. in Room #3/4 on the lower level. Anyone interested is welcome.

Local Veterinarian, Dr. Kevin Ludwig, will share his work on mission trips in which he has participated.

Sunday, November 5, All Saints Sunday, with our District Superintendent, The Rev. Glenn Conaway, preaching and serving at the Lord’s Table.

Wednesday, November 22, 2017, 128th Anniversary of the founding of Mount Pleasant Church, Tom Fisher, former member of Mount Pleasant and a retired United Methodist minister will be coming to bring praise and thanksgiving to us. We welcome Tom home.

Monday, December 4, at 7 p.m. “The Next Chapter” bringing us a Christmas Concert.
