Pay Attention to Your Inner Martha and Mary

MOUNT PLEASANT CHURCH IS SEARCHING FOR A PIANIST FOR SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP AND A REHEARSAL TIME DURING THE WEEK. WE ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR A VOLUNTEER “TECHY” TO WORK WITH THE MEDIA EQUIPMENT. IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED OR KNOWS ANYONE PLEASE CALL PASTOR JOHN.

This Sunday, July 21, 2019, 6th Sunday after Pentecost at 9:30 a.m., Pastor Mitchell will bring the message “Pay Attention to Your Inner Martha and Mary” based on Luke 10:38-42.

Darlene Solomon will be our Worship Leader and Joan Thomas, our song Leader. Our pianist will be Aaron Benfer. Special Music will be “River in Judea” performed by the Praise Choir.

Our facility is handicapped accessible and seasonably air conditioned. Please join us following the service for a time of fellowship and refreshment.

There will be no Bible study in the month of July.

Our Annual Church Conference is scheduled for Saturday morning, October 19, 2019, at 9 a.m. The location is 1stUMC in Millville along with the other 5 UMCs. The presiding elder for our conference will be Pastor Jin Oh of the Olivet UMC.

THERE IS A BOX FOR THE “HELP & HOPE” FOOD CLOSET LOCATED UNDER THE BULLETIN BOARD IN THE HOSPITALITY AREA. Canned goods and other non-perishables may be placed there.
